Little Bird on Our Deck
The sweetest little baby bird appeared on the railing of our sundeck a couple of nights ago, I believe it was a swallow, but I could be mistaken. It was sleepy and trying to nap, kept tucking its little head under its wing. Our cat eyed it with eager anticipation but we distracted her before it was too late! I managed to sneak up and take a few pictures of the sweet little bird. It was so downy and soft.

Nice shots of this chubby little bird that could be a chickadee. I’ve got a birdhouse where chickadees were nesting. I was glad to see them survive the last windstorm but the birdhouse was pestered by blue jays recently so I’m not sure if any babies or eggs were harmed. I wish the cute little fuzz ball in your photos well. :)
This little one might be nicknamed Baby Blue until someone can positively identify it. I would love to have birdhouses but our two cats have first dibs. One is an expert hunter -one sleeps all day. Thanks for the lovely photos!
